How you can energize yourself with music

Listening to music can be a potent tool when it comes to building yourself mentally.

You can with advantage, listen to music while you exercise. Motions drive emotions, and that is convenient when building healthy self-esteem and confidence.

If you add positive self-talk and intensify your inhale and exhale while you are walking, then you have the perfect combination for a personal mental growth environment.

The reason why long breathing is so proper is related to the discovery of the "Ice Man." Read more about that here.

I have my Sunday routine where I iron my shirts in preparation for the following week, listening to music and doing calisthenics between each shirt. I add positive self-talk during the whole time, and after one hour, I feel energized.

It don't have to be that complicated. When you think about it, I am sure you will come up with a routine that suits you.

Here are some songs I use to listen to when I want to recharge myself with energy:

Autobots- Steve Jablonsky

Arrival on earth-Steve Jablonsky

A hard Teacher- Hans Zimmer

Visualize

When you change you either move away from pain or towards pleasure. A visualization is a tool you can use in both cases. When you put yourself in state and see yourself in 2 years from now, where you are and what you have achieved you will get a feeling.

Imagine that feeling and think about what you are focusing on and what you say to yourself. That positive or negative feeling creates power in the present for you do to the things necessary for you to get where you want.

Your goals will not happen automatically; you have to work for them.

I listened to Siri Lindley, a former triathlon world champion, and she explained how she used visualization before one of the world championships. She had seen herself running across the finish line as number one, and she had built up a strong feeling about that.

During the race, she got kicked in the head during her swimming together with some other things she had not expected along the track. As you might understand, she didn't finish as number one at that time.

However, Siri's takeaway was that you visualize on the things you can predict but also on the things you cannot foresee. That way, you will be able to see yourself as a winner even though obstacles come your way.

Visualizing will make you unstopable.

Anchoring

When you are in the flow, and everything is just going your way, you can anchor that feeling. Clenching your fist or in another subtitle, way make that feeling stick. Then when you want to go back to that feeling, you clench your fist again.

You can also imagine or visualize yourself to a state where you are outstanding and anchor that feeling — a powerful way of getting yourself into a peak state.
