Train your mind for success

 

You don´t get in life what you want; you get in life what you are. Your discipline and habits determine your success. If you have poor discipline, you will get an unfortunate result. It is hard to become successful by doing nothing.

I don´t believe in luck. I wise person once said: The more I train, the luckier I get!

Your subconscious mind

Our brain is a remarkable machine. Many of us only utilize a small portion of the brain´s capacity. The first step is to embrace and understand what superpowers we all possess.

David Goggins, former Navy Seal, author, and speaker, says that you can do 40 % more than your maid is telling you. The challenge is to understand this and overcome this mental barrier.

First, you have to believe that your goal is possible, and then you need to take massive action. If you want something you have never had, you must be willing to do something you have never done.

The hardest person to lead is yourself. Your mind will continuously tell you what it thinks is right and wrong, true or false. All this, according to your subconscious mind.

Your subconscious mind is there because of every sense and experience you have had since you were a child. That is why so many people fail in turning their negative believes into the superpowers which we all possess.

Your mind controls you more than you know

Take, for instance, your negative thoughts. They are like weeds. You cannot stop them unless you are continuously working on removing them. However, if you listen to your inner voice long enough, the words you are saying to yourself will become your reality.

Then you will stop removing your “weeds” because you believe it is impossible to get rid of them.

Fact is the truth, but perception is reality. The reason behind this is that your subconscious mind cannot tell the difference between your thoughts and what is real. In Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), you often hear that your map is not your territory, meaning that your view of the world might not be accurate according to how others see it. 

We all have heard about the Placebo effect where people believe that they get medical treatment, but in reality, receive sugar pills and get well anyway. The opposite is the Nocebo effect, where people think themselves into illness. 

The Placebo effect tells us how sharp the mind is if you steer your thoughts in the right direction.

Your subconscious mind makes 96-98 % of all your decision. Everything that we crave, desire, and act upon comes from what we predominantly hold in our subconscious minds. 

Most people think that a situation causes them anxiety or stress. The reality is that no situation can cause someone to experience anxiety. It is your psychological reaction to the circumstance that causes us to experience anxiety.

In other words, you can choose a reaction to a situation and get the outcome you want.

Isn’t that fantastic!

Transform your mind

You can use this knowledge to your advantage and repeatedly tell yourself (the subconscious mind) that you are healthy, active, and have a great immune system, for example.

Take control of your mind and tell it what you want to see because it will eventually become your reality. 

Every morning you can create your hour of power where you combine your daily workout with incantations (self-talk). Do this repeatedly over time, and you will experience a real difference.

Work on the state you are in

Everyone has a filter in their mind based on what state they are in. If you are in a negative state, you most probably will interpret a situation more negatively. Use the knowledge of the Triad (Physiology, Focus, and Language) that Tony Robbins teaches, and change will be able to change your state in an instant. 

Your state is determined by how we move your body (physiology) what we focus on and what language we use.

You can deliberately put yourself in a positive state every morning or before you are going to go up on stage or need to perform in any way. 

Another way is to think of a time where you were performing well and think of the Triad. How was your physiology, what did you focus on, and what did you say to yourself. 

Your positive emotions will come back to you even though it happened years ago. It is like calling for your superpowers when you need them.

Upgrade your knowledge continuously.

Progress equals happiness, and personal growth will make you feel better. The more you learn, the more you can program your mind. If you don´t have a program for your mind, your mind will be programmed and perhaps not by the things you want.

Don´t let someone´s opinion of you become your reality. Upgrade your mind and learn to handle your emotions and understand where they come from. Learn the 6 human needs and know which ones are most important to you.

If you have a hard time receiving criticism, as I do, it might be because you are afraid of not being liked or good enough. Avoid this by looking in the mirror every morning and saying to yourself that you are good enough. Put up posters on the wall that says, “I am good enough.” 

Face your fears and try new things. That will help you grow even faster. You cannot read the label if you are inside the box. Attend seminars, listen to Youtube, and learn from the best in the field of concurring your mind. 

Have discipline and do something every day. Your personal development will eventually reach exponential growth. 

Don´t let failures stop you. Life is going to slap you around and don´t spend time complaining about it. Measure your success based upon your progress, not by what others think of you. 80% of all people don´t care, and 20% are glad that you are failing.

You are the creator of your reality. Choose your thoughts wisely, and I will see you at the top.
