Servant leadership: Will give you a unique edge in the future

Wisdom comes with age, but sometimes age comes alone. Many people are only thinking of themselves. When they realize that the world is not spinning around them, they become frustrated.

It is not about you; it is about adding value to others. The secret to life is giving. True happiness and fulfillment comes when you contribute and grow yourself.

Value yourself

For you to value others, you need to value yourself. How you see yourself will be a reflection of how you see others. If you trust yourself, you will trust others.

Sometimes your response can be more significant than the problem. That can, for example, occur if you have low self-esteem and your subconscious creates a feeling during an interaction. Your perception becomes your reality, but it doesn't have to be correct.

Ask yourself if your feeling is correct and question it if it's not.

Give value to others.

To give value, you need to value people. Start by appreciating yourself.

Value what they are valuing. Learn to listen.

People are interested in people who are interested in them.

Grow yourself to be able to give value to others. You cannot give something you don't have.

Show that you genuinely care about others.

See people as they are

We have a tendency to simplify our world around us. Sometimes it is right, but sometimes we are wrong. Don't judge people to fast and see people as they are not better or worse.

Treat others better than they treat us. It is not what happens to you, but what happens in you that matters.

Help others to grow

The best gift you can give another person is to help them realize what they are good at.
Helping people is more important than making them happy.

Light other's intrinsic motivation to grow and coach them to their potential. When others grow themselves into the opportunity, they will thank you.

Help others to succeed.

When you help others to succeed, you will increase your influence with them. When you do something for them that they cannot do for themselves, that is even better.

Be joyful for others

The people that most often don't succeed are the ones that don't celebrate others wins.

Understand others

Understand others, and you will be able to help them get what they want. They might say what they want, but you need to figure out what they really want. (6 human needs)

Be curious and think of every person as if they can teach you something. What is the reason for other people's behavior?

Altruism

Altruism is acting out of concern for another's well-being. Often, people behave in this way when they see others in desperate circumstances and feel empathy and a desire to help.

Try to be altruistic every day.

I judge the success of a day based on the seeds I sow, not the harvest that I reap.

Humility

A servant leader doesn't need a title to be a leader. A servant leader puts others first and eats last. Everybody counts, and the best way to solve things is by working together.
