How to get anything you want in life.

Persistence will get you there

If you want to succeed in life, you have to be a little stubborn. Quitting is not in the vocabulary of a successful person.

Make a decision and then stick to it over time, even though you don't see the result right away. The more action you take, the more you will be able to learn. The compounding effect of these learnings will then eventually show up, and the result will come. Failing forward is an expression that every successful person has embraced.

If you fall, make sure to land on your back because if you can look up, you can get up.

 - Les Brown.

Have faith in the things you do because it will remove your limitations. It is through persistence over time that makes the difference. Do the 1% that 99% of the people don't want to do. A quitter never wins, and a winner never quits. When you become a master of what you do, people will turn their head towards you.

Desire and believe in achieving what you want

You have to believe it to make it. If your subconscious mind doesn't think you will succeed, it won't let you, no matter how hard you try. Only when you see it in your mind, you will be able to hold it in your hand. That is why most people who win the lottery can't keep the money for a long time because they don't see themselves as wealthy.

The same is valid for happiness, success, wealth, health, etc. How you see yourself will determine how life will show up for you.

Here I cannot emphasize enough how important repetition is for your subconscious mind to change its' reality. The things you say to yourself regularly will become your reality.

Your desire to get the things you want I life has to be equally strong as your desire to bread underwater after a minute or two.

When you are that emotionally involved and committed to the task, all the problems that occur before you will be solved. You will find a way no matter what. You can't succeed if you go in with the attitude, "I will try and see how it goes."

The best athletes in the world put even more effort during training to prepare for the race or combat. It is what you do every day that determines your outcome. Go all in and take massive action once you have decided what to do. If you are going to take the Island, you better burn the ships.

Grow yourself to perfection

For you to be good at something, you have to study it for at least five years. The exciting thing, though, is that the more you learn, the more you will enjoy exploring it. Soon you will change your target from getting good at something to "How far can I go?"

Value-based thinking

The best thing you can say to a child is that you are loved, you are unique and that you can become and do whatever you want. A child that is growing up in that kind of environment will be able to value him-or herself regardless of what others think.

That person will also be able to value others more due to high self-esteem. When others feel valued, they will appreciate and help you.

To give value to others, you have to increase your value. You cannot give something you haven't got, therefore adding value to oneself is so crucial.

Balance the focus on yourself and your development with an emphasis on others. Things start to shift when you focus more on others than on yourself.

Adding value to others or just contributing in any form grants the giver sense wellbeing, regardless if there is money involved.

Awareness and agility are the leaders' best friend.

Fighter pilots in the US Airforce have a saying called OODA which means, Observe, Orient, Decide and Act. These words are so right, not only for fighter pilots but also for any leader in any situation.

First, you have to be aware of your reality. See the world as it is, not better or worse. Assess your options and make a decision. Without a choice, you will most likely lose the opportunity or won't be able to get out of an adverse situation.

Apply these tips, and I will guarantee that your life will never be the same again. Good luck, and I see you at the top.
